ARTINITY is a digital cultural guide featuring events, exhibitions and cultural content. The data controller for artinity.gr is ARTINITY.

2. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors to artinity.gr, people who contact us by email, newsletter subscribers and, where applicable, authorised users who manage content on the website.

3. Personal data we process

Technical usage data: IP address, date and time of access, page addresses, browser and device type, and error or security logs.

Communications: email address, name or signature, message content and any attachments you choose to send us.

Newsletter: email address and information required to document your consent and unsubscribe request. Bulk newsletter delivery has not yet been activated.

Website administration: login details and activity logs only for authorised administrators and partners.

4. Why we use personal data

We process personal data to operate, secure and improve the website on the basis of our legitimate interests; to respond to requests and communications or take steps at your request; to send the newsletter only with your consent; and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you.

5. Who may receive personal data

Access is limited to those who need it for a specific purpose: our hosting provider, authorised technical or editorial partners, our email provider and, once selected, our newsletter delivery provider. We may also disclose data to public authorities when required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will take place only where a lawful safeguard is available, such as an adequacy decision or approved Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. Newsletter information is retained until you withdraw your consent or request deletion. Ordinary correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and generally for up to 24 months after the last communication, unless a longer period is required for legal claims or obligations. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s security needs and no longer than necessary.

Records that demonstrate consent or compliance may be retained for as long as necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, restrict processing, request data portability and object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

9. Security and children

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access or alteration. No system, however, can guarantee absolute security.

The website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data without the required permission, please contact us.

10. External links and changes

The website contains links to organisers’ websites, ticketing platforms and other services. When you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply.
